The Story of Minishumu

Minishimu is my current girl on my akai her name means pierce the bone/ to the bone. It describes the feeling of a cold breeze that hits your right in the bone. I thought it was fitting as I am attempting an Oldie run with her and if this is anything like my previous one, she will sink right into my life without my noticing.

September 20 /17
She entered this world today. She was a cute heart shaped white baby and tortured me with the relentless baby stage. I used the time to make enough gotchi points and donate them to the gotchi king. In an hour and 5 minutes she evolved into a cute white cherry. There we called the gotchi king and he brought us a present, a pooper scooper. A living pooper scooper.
I aimed to take perfect care of her I wanted to get ringotchi and then ribotchi.

September 21 /17
Today she evolved right into ringotchi and now she is my cute little apple! She is two years old today. This works out as on the keitai/ akai they age whenever they wake up (to those who fiddle with time prepare awful things happen to those who meddle with time) also when ever they age it counts as a life time event and it is saved (how wizard right?). Her meters have been filled all day (whenever I can I feed her and then play a quick game swimming, and that way her meters never drop).




September 22 /17
Today my red apple cutie is 3 years old today. One thing a love about running Japanese tamagotchis is their aging mechanic. Today I did my hardest to make sure her meters did not drop at all, whenever I checked on her (frequently) I would see if I can top her up with a meal and snacks. There are two invisible hearts with each meter so it wasn't so hard. At the end of her day she was missing one training point until she finished her training meter. Her routine is simple check, feed, and play a game.

September 23 /17
Today she turned 4 years old and we filled her training bar before she evolved into an adult today! She evolved into Ribotchi the elusive perfect care mametchi equivalent adult on the akai. I love this character and I am so very happy that I have one! The 'Serious' Types on the Ketai have always been out of reach for me. I usually get memetchi and I am so very tired of memetchi and her curl. Today we followed her same routine keep her feed until she refuses to eat a meal and give her the same amount of snacks, and then play a game to keep her weight low. And to celebrate her awesome evolution she had red wine (also she's an adult and can do that now).

September 24 /17
Today my little Mini turned 5 years old. If she were a human she would enter kindergarden. Today was a day filled with routine. I checked and she was fine I would feed her until she screamed "no! I will explode!" so I said okay dear so let's have some watermelon then let's go for a swim to trim the fat and then I leave her be. I am still loving her red pixels, which is of course fall themed.

Oh! Right I made a pouch for my sweet little akai. I had two if the connection pouches that have the characters with the backpacks. My Ringotchi one just perfect for my akai so.... I took off the backpack split the top, inserted an old crochet pouch and sewed the pieces together stuffed it as much as I can and now my Akai just slides right in. That way it is safe and cushioned in my bag and has a nice place to sleep at night.

September 25 /17
Well being a Monday we went to school as I had no choice headache or not. We had a lab meeting, then we had to wait for class. Then we shoved my headache into a box and hid it under my bed until after class. Then it came back even worse. Then we got home and I curled up in a ball in bed and she is still rocking life. We are still maintaining her routine, Check, feed until she says no more, give her water melon or a peach then we play a game to trim the excess weight and there we go.




September 26/ 17
Mini the Ribotchi akai is 7 years old and on this tuesday she was a rockstar. I had to go to a school thing for an hour so and ended up having an awesome chit chat chitty chat chat thing with people (that sorta got away from me...) and so she ended up being alone for a few hours and guess what? She was fine she had full meters and everything even though the whole walk home I was feeling like a garbage person because I knew it had been hours since I last checked on her! So that is awesome other than that though we kept to our usual routine. No matchmaker visits yet but we know they are coming.

September 27/ 17
Today she turned 8 and it was a chill out sort of day we worked on stuff, we had some chit chatting via text, worked some more and ended the day with some Sims 3 (I am trying to expand my games and I like it) Today we followed her routine to a T and had no issues. I even cleaned the poop before the poop cleaner (most of the time I miss it). We also had two match maker visits and she brought us the bottom of the barrel... aka kurokotchi..... Obviously we declined those offers were just plain offensive and insulting.

September 28/ 17

Today she turns 9 and on this Thursday I had to teach a class which went awesome and then I had to meet up with a friend for dinner and that was fun but now I am tired and I have a headache, I always get a headache after a long day of social interaction with people. Well in all that she only got checked on twice and went 2 hours and 4 ish hours and she had three hearts remaining and that is the lowest that she has ever been. She was a tad chubby but we played a few games and we thinned her right out. So she is a rockstar and I hope she remains so when she is an old lady. We are still working on our become an Oldie and so far so good stay tuned for next time!


September 29 /17
This was a fine Friday in which I don't have a lot to say. She turned 10 today when should not really be a shocker to anyone. Same old routine: overfeed, game then rinse and repeat. She did lose a single hungry heart, I was busy and it wasn't all that concerning. And the match maker brought us the same insulting offer (kurokotchi) so naturally we said oh no you don't.

September 30 /17

Today is our last update for September! How amazing is this? So today when she woke up she was 11 years old today and loving the double trouble of her age the next double trouble is 22. We followed the same routine: overfeed, game then we rinse and repeat. We are aiming for perfect which means full meters and low weight. Again the match maker came knocking on the door, and again she brought the same riff raff! Can she find no one else to offer us? Or does she just not understand we are the top of the top of characters and she can't just insult us with this bottom of the barrel everyone else's leftovers. At the very least she should have the decency to bring us someone who is equal to us, and if she must bring someone lower not the dead bottom of the barrel!

Then the crazy thing happened later this afternoon I checked on her after hanging out with a friend and she had evolved! I was thinking this would happen around age 15, but nope here she is today my slightly creepy old lady!

My first post in the Halloween season!!!!
In all the excitement yesterday I forgot to turn off her light when she went to bed which means I have potentially gotten a care miss. Today she turns 12, and is officially entering the world of pre teen and crazy teenage ways. Teenagers and non-human monsters. Today we are following the same old routine while playing some animal crossing we are working very hard on placing public works projects and arranging my flowers for my paths. and abyssrium ( I got the star marlin fish!) We over feed watch her take extra time chew for every bite (yes she needs extra time to chew which is adorable. She is looking good today and we are loving the fact that fall has finally come to our desert home (new for me still, the only home she has ever known).


October 2 /17

First day of snow! Yes that's right in the middle of the desert and we have snow and it is wet but glorious. I love fall and I love winter. So I never complain about the cold weather that is here and coming. Right so on this blessed day my Minishimu is 13 and is officially a moody and sullen teenager who spends her time either saying a mean comment or sitting in a sullen silence. We also started pokemon Red last night and game appreciation is so real. It is such a pretty game and it makes me work hard, and the sprite art.. and the music. So if you have never played it. Do it. And bonus picture! You get to see the snow outside of my apartment

October 3 /17
She turned 14 today one more day until we beat the age goal I made! Well this was a very interesting day we decided to stay home then pop into the lab to ask some questions. Then I had a nap and she was a champion and didn't really need me (her meters were full) so when I woke up I went through with her routine as groggy as I was (I was a space cadet) then I went to work (or I tried to or pretended to) and I nearly finished my work. And I went on to play animal crossing (no yet has visited my dream address but it will happen) and then we took on Brock the gym leader and with my bug, my rat, my charmander, pika, nidoran, and chubby bird and we won. Through chip damage and patience. It was a proud moment.

October 4/ 17

Today is the day! She is 15 and we have kicked the age goal in its butt so hard it is crying for it's mommy! And now we have a new age goal... age 20! May the odds be ever in our favour. Well today I think we will stay home most of the day as I have work to do, dishes to clean (I didn't them last night when I should have) and some pokemon to play. We have a cave (ugh I hate caves in pokemon), pokemon to catch trainers to beat and awesome to be had.
And that is our day, Oldie hatches become very hard to log after awhile. But I think we got this. Work, being a grown up and some play tome.

October 5/ 17
Minishimu is now 16 years old she is now a typical teenage girl make up and selfies and Starbucks coffee free coffee drinks that cost $10 and boys. Today is one of the two days that I teach so I fed her up and I met her on the other side to see that she is a tank. She is a tank. She was fine a full happy meter and three hungry hearts. I feed her up and then we played a couple games and sh was right as rain. I have faith that she will reach 20 years old and Canadian Thanksgiving.

I know I have been doing pictures every other day and today we are expecting a picture of Minishimu her age and her clock. But I did not sleep well last night, and then early in the morning my cat just would not stop meowing and I got mean and I felt horrible (it's okay I made him a catnip mouse with a crazy long tail and we have played and he got his cuddles). So long story short there is no picture. She is 17 years old today and I feel the odds in seeing her reach 20 are in our favour. I did have a nap after teaching today....

October 7 /17

Today is the day after I got tons of sleep. She is also 18 years old today and in just two days she will be 20, the odds are in our favour. Today we went shopping bought my thanksgiving dinner (mac and Cheese) got some pumpkin so we can squash it up (with the other squash) so pumpkin waffles and pumpkin in my oatmeal and maybe a pumpkin soup? who knows I love this squash!

Today my old lady is 19 years strong and we are ever so excited to reach 20 years old tomorrow and celebrate Thanksgiving with our anti-thanksgiving-dinner dinner! We did a load of laundry sort of last minute we had pumpkin oatmeal (which was the best thing to ever happen to me) it tastes like pumpkin pie for breakfast. We even went into the lab today and did a boat load of marking while being extremely tired. And we ended the day while breeding pokemon and popping into Haven (my animal crossing town).

October 9/ 17

Today is gobble day and we had mac and cheese for breakfast after spending far too long washing the damned dishes. If I wasn't poor I would have just bought new ones. But finally we got to eat the mac and cheese and bask in the glory of my pokemon breeding I am still working on one that I stated yesterday (but I finished 2 yesterday). And what is with people being so invested in labeling a day good or bad or being all hung up on the type of day you are having? It's insane talking about it for hours while the day is passing by is a waste of what could have been a good day but instead we sat around gabbed about it making it a horrible day. Just saying talking about your day for hours on end is stupid. Same with talking about hours on end how you are feeling. Just saying.

October 10/ 17
Alright so today she is 21 years old and still going strong. I had an early morning meeting that she snoozed through and damn I am tired. Now I cannot be certain if being tired is due to not sleeping well or if it's from a parasite. I need like 20 hours or so of not being tired to write what I have all up in my head so I can get it out! But anyways we had pumpkin oatmeal for breakfast (after breakfast and after a meeting and it had to be reheated twice. I want to write and be productive and I know this is not supposed to be all about me but here I am whining.

October 11/ 17
Minishimu is 22 years old today and I am in the crapper emotions and such wise. And I have written nothing else than she didn't die today. So We followed her usual routine overfeed games and repeat. We are slowly working up to 3000 gotchi points.

October 12/ 17
Minishimu is 23 years old and much like yesterday I was in a rotten mood. Day two of a never ending panic attack (living with anxiety not as glamorous as it sounds) but she survived my crazy thursday day and lived up to being left alone in my pocket for hours on end. I will advocate the overfeed games thing forever. But a side not games didn't happen until I got home.

October 13/ 17

There wasn't a lot going on today, she turned 24 years old and in just one day he will be 25 years old. I was in a low point I had finished teaching and she did just fine with the neglect and I was dead tired and then I had the energy to the dishes that I have neglected, chopped nuts and dried fruit for my oatmeal and after that I was pooped.







October 14 /17

I know a picture today when there was one yesterday. Well today is sorta a biggish day. I tabbed two tamas and traded them into for two different ones. One of which is in this picture meet Raiden the second who will become Minishimu's oldies best friend. Also today my Akai is 25 years old which means she is quarter of a century now we don't have big daunting goals so we will aim to get her to age 30 and we will see how we go from there.

October 15 /17
Today we do not get to see three pictures in a row we get instead to know that mini is age 26 and Raiden the second is 2 years old. Raiden the second evolved into a lovely strawberry the guaranteed 1st generation teen for the tamagotchi plus. What am I missing from my akai with Raiden? The poop cleaner, the poop boop and the hands free swimming game. But I will adjust. After all Minishimu needs a friend.

October 16/ 17

Picture time! We see both minishimu in her red glory and the strawberry Raiden the second! I have finally figured out why she doesn't freak me out as much, the red pixels. She is less intense and less bold so she appears softer.. less scary. I say this as I have seen her with black pixels and she used to scare the poop out of me. But now she's less scary and more.... cute. Today she is 27 years old 3 days away from reaching 30 and since he is in the picture Raiden the second is 3 and doing just fine. He is needier than Mini so his menus dropping is expected.

Today she turned 28 years old and Raiden her buddy is 4 and I don't have much to say on that. This if I recall was the day my computer had some crazy display issues and needed to get fixed so it is a black stain my mind all I can think of what if they found me at fault

Mini got a care miss I think I wasn't 100% on this as I wasn't watching her her hungry meter was empty and the attention light was off... and because I was far too anxious to sleep I decided to cook dinner for the next week late at night and she got another care miss as I was busy with the chopping of vegetables and raw chicken and the cooking of the said vegetables and the raw chicken

And more care misses Mini turned 30 and was completely hungry when I finished teaching thursdays and fridays are my worst days... and I forgot to fill her up before class. But we looked at fungal spore colours to map the gene on the chromosome so cool yes, sucky human also yes

And today was the day my neglect was just too much for her. I did learn from her though, I learned that I need to integrate her into my life a bit more not just have her be around. See that's how the neglect happens at school I just forgot to check on her. So I will try harder next time which should be with Raiden the Second.
